Jane Ola Hinkle

Mrs. Hinkle was born January 25, 1934 in Limestone County to Russell Menefee and Laura Mae Barksdale Menefee. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Fredrick “Eugene” Hinkle, two sisters, Joyce Richardson and Peggy Griffin.

Mrs. Hinkle graduated from East Limestone High School in 1952. She and her husband owned Hinkle Office Supply, where she worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Jones Road Church of Christ, and she loved to eat at the Cracker Barrel.

Survivors include two daughters, Tina Legg and husband Wesley, Terri Harris and husband John; four grandchildren, Lauren Scott, Olivia Legg, Hannah Smith and husband Erik, Jake Harris; two great-grandchildren, Scarlett Smith and Heidi Smith.

There will be a graveside service for Mrs. Hinkle on Tuesday at Roselawn Cemetery at 11 a.m. with Brother John Gibson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Legg, John Harris, Jake Harris, Erik Smith, Russ Griffin and Thomas Griffin.
