Mrs. Janice Curnutt Gooch

She was born September 13, 1947, in Morgan County, AL, to William Donald Curnutt, Sr., and Alcy Byrd Clayton Curnutt.

Janice loved genealogy, traveling, and meeting people. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Charlie Gooch, one daughter Carrie Nave, two brothers Wayne and Bill Curnutt, three sisters Ruth Waters, Jean Grissom, and Janet Curnutt.

Janice is survived by her husband Charles H. Gooch; one daughter Cindy Gooch Cardwell and husband Rob, one granddaughter Columbia Young and husband Kaleb, one great grandson Mack Young, one sister Pat Moore, one brother Walter Curnutt and wife Betty and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday October 6, 2025, from 12:00-2:00 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Brother Daniel Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brad Curnutt, Rob Caldwell, Don Campbell, Chad Nave, Barry Campbell, and Mike McConnell.
