John "Joe" Stewart

A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday February 28, 2017 at 1 P.M. at Fairview Cemetery with George Whitten officiating.

Visitation will be Monday February 27, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home.

He was born April 19, 1954, in Limestone County, AL to John Stewart Sr., Mary Elizabeth Stewart. He was raised by his step-father Lemuel H. Nalley Sr. and Mary E. Stewart Nalley.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

He is survived by finance Toni Uhl, two sons Chris Stewart and wife Bonnie, John Travis Stewart; four brothers John O. Stewart, Jr., and wife Pam, Lemuel Nalley, Jr. and wife Lisa, Thomas Nalley and wife Debbie, Morris Nalley and wife Melinda, four grandchildren Meagan Stewart, Alyson Hovater, Kayla Stewart, and Coby Stewart, and one great grandchild Callie Elizabeth Bonds and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John O. Stewart, Jr., Lemuel Nalley, Jr., Thomas Nalley, Morris Nalley, Coby Stewart, and Alan Nalley.
