He was born April 5, 1985 in Huntsville, AL to Michael and Stephanie Long.
Mr. Long was a technical supervisor for Kennametal Firth Sterling in Huntsville, AL.
He is survived by his two daughters Saffron Long and Alivia Long both of Athens, AL; his parents of Avondale, AZ; two brothers James R. Long, II. Of Phoenix, AZ; Kevin M. Long of Madison, AL; one sister Kelly M. Long of Avondale, AZ; grandparents James R. and Linda Long of Madison, AL; Margaret Beck of Athens, AL; John and Jan Duplechain of Slidell, LA.
Kyle was a great father, son, brother, and friend. Kyle enjoyed the outdoors and cherished his connection to nature. Kyle was a student and teacher of his Native American Heritage and natural medicines. Kyle was devoted to family and expressed kindness and love to all he touched.
There will be a Memorial Service Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11 a.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with brother Donald Terry officiating.
