Lee Haynes Jr.

Mr. Haynes was born in Waterloo, AL to Thomas Wiley Lee Haynes and Mable Howard Haynes on November 5, 1936.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia Haynes, one son Steven Haynes, one son-in-law Phillip Schrimsher, two sisters Estelle Abernathy, and Linda Richardson, two brothers Raymond Haynes and Teddy Haynes.

Mr. Haynes served in the Army National Guard for two years and attended Olive Branch Church.

He is survived by three daughters Lynnese Schrimsher of Toney, AL; LaDonna McCafferty (Jeff) of Harvest, AL; and Rochelle Haynes (Edsel Hogan) of Harvest, AL; one sister Cathy Putman, twelve grandchildren Amanda Blackmon (Michael), Zachary Schrimsher (Megan), Jessica Flores (Abby), Kristen Tremonti (David), Christopher Mooney, Ryan Mooney (Chelsea), Logan Mooney (Candace), Jeremy Hogan (Tiffany), Ashley Hogan, Andrew Haynes , Heather Haynes, and Joshua Haynes, thirteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, March 7, 2025 from 12:00-1:00 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home with a Graveside Service to follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens at 2:00 P.M. with Michael Blackmon officiating.

Pallbearers will be Zachary Schrimsher, Christopher Mooney, Logan Mooney, Jeremy Hogan, Ezekiel Flores, and Levi Blackmon.
