Leonard Leroy Dillard Jr.

The Funeral Service for Leonard L. Dillard, Jr. age 92, of Madison, AL; will be Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Haven Baptist Church, on Slaughter Rd in Madison, Al with Steve Grissom officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 9, 2015: 1-2 p.m. at Haven Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.

Mr. Dillard passed away Thursday August 6, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital.

He was born July 15, 1923 in Birmingham, AL to Leonard L. Dillard, Sr. and Syble Clara Ellis Dillard. He was a member of Haven Baptist Church and he was a United States Navy Veteran who loved fishing.

Mr. Dillard is preceded in death by his parents, one son Ronald E. Dillard, and six brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife Vallalee, one son Richard L. Dillard and wife Anita of Madison, AL; two sisters Helen Liggett, Peggy Pelkey, two grandchildren Christopher Dillard and wife Stephanie; Angela M. Womack and husband Dr. Benjamin D.; five great grandchildren Alex, John, Emma, Julia, and Cora.
