Mrs. Vickers was born on January 18, 1954 in Colorado to Louis Leroy Pierce and Hazel Gertrude Hillier.
She is preceded in death by her father, and one son Joshua Aaron Vickers
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Andrew Mark Vickers; mother Hazel Gertrude Hillier Pierce; daughter Rebecca Norman (William) of Elkmont; sons Andrew M. Vickers Jr. of Athens, Benjamin Thomas Vickers of Athens, and Noah Michael Vickers of Athens; brother Louis Pierce of Colorado; sister Linda Pierce of Athens; as well as 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Vickers was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed.
The family will be receiving friends at McConnell Funeral Home on Wednesday December 8th from 12-1pm, and a memorial service will follow at 1pm.
