Macie P Mcnatt

The funeral for Macie McNatt, 85, of Elkmont will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hays Mill Church of Christ with Eugene Brittnell, David Harwell and Randall Hammock officiating. The body will lie in state from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-9 tonight at McConnell Funeral Home.

She died Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at home.

Macie McNatt was born March 25, 1925, in Decatur, to William Henderson Coffman and Mary Viola Bolin Coffman. She retired from Ben Franklin Store in Athens. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of Hays Mill Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Loyd McNatt; three sisters; and four brothers.

Survivors include a son, Gary Loyd McNatt and wife Brenda of Hartselle; daughter, Janis Latham and husband Steve of Athens; sister, Polly McNatt; grandchildren, Greg Brady and wife Elaine, Michelle Norris and husband Tony of Athens, Andrea McNatt of Hartselle, and Rhett McNatt of Elkmont; step-grandchildren, Allison Good and husband Eric, and Chris Price of Hartselle; great-grandchildren, Matthew Brady, Brady Norris, Emily Norris, Autumn Brady, Kendall Price, Carlin Price, Eden McNatt, Savana Bullard and Ashley Good; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Greg Brady, Matthew Brady, Brady Norris, Stanley McNatt, Chris Price, Calvin Stanford and Sam McMeans.
