

He was born January 16, 1956, in Limestone County to Clifford and Juanita Wales Schrimsher.
There will be a funeral on Saturday August 7, 2021, at 11:30am at Fairview Baptist Church. The family will not be receiving friends for visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery. The family has requested that everyone attending please wear a mask, and social distance. Honorary Pallbearers will be Benjie McBay, his Sunday School Class, all of his nephews, and the Deacons of Fairview Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Lou Ann Green Schrimsher; a brother, Mack Schrimsher and wife Dana; two sisters, Brenda Schrimsher Greer, and Connie Schrimsher Crouch; several nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
Malcolm was retired from Steelcase after working there for 35 years. He was a lifelong member of Fairview Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon, Sunday School teacher, choir member, and enjoyed mission trips.
Malcolm loved fishing and Alabama football. He also loved doing for others.
