Margaret K Dobbs

Visitation will be Saturday, June 18, 2016 12-1:45 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Dobbs passed away Thursday June 16, 2016 at her residence.

She was born April 1, 1921, in Winston County, AL to William Henry and Sarah Dodd King. She was a homemaker, who loved to take care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She owned Limestone Florist in the late 1950’s, and was the co-owner of Dobbs shoe service. She was a member of West Hobbs Street Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband J.C. Dobbs of 57 years, two brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by her son Jimmy Dobbs of Remlap, two daughters both of Athens; Patricia Dobbs Hargrove and husband Tink, Mildred Dobbs Latimer and husband Bill, 8 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Great Grandsons.
