She was born April 4, 1927 in Limestone County to Robert E. Carter and Effie B. Abernathy Carter.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, her husband Avery D. Norman, two sisters Lois Resler, Bertha Carter; six brothers Otha, Johnny, Guy, Thomas, William, and Morris Carter.
She is survived by one son Bobby R. Norman.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date by McConnell Funeral Home.
