She is preceded in death by her father, William Tait Adams Sr. and her mother, Inez Janie Roebuck Adams.
She is survived by her husband, Lexie Lynn Helms and her brother, William Tait Adams Jr.
A graduate of Judson College, she retired from the Huntsville City School System.
The funeral service will be held in Athens at Mc Connell Funeral Home on Sunday, December 28, 2025, with the Rev. Toney Wales officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM to 2 PM with the funeral service to follow.
A chapel service will be held in Montgomery at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home on Monday, December 29, 2025, with the Rev. Toney Wales officiating. Visitation will be from 1 PM to 2 PM with the graveside service to follow in Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd., Montgomery, AL 36109.
