Visitation will be Sunday, February 1, 2015: 6-9 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Carter passed away Friday January 30, 2015 at Athens Rehab and Senior Care.
She was born January 5, 1969 in Limestone County, AL to Paul D. Carter and Phyllis Ann Callahan Carter. She was a member of Truth Baptist Church.
Mrs. Carter is preceded in death by her father, and one sister Gayle Carter.
She is survived by her mother Phyllis Ann Carter of Athens, one son Nick Ray and wife Dani of Lester, one daughter April Dollar of Athens, one brother Dale Carter and wife Melissa of Decatur, two sisters Summer Nave and husband Michael of Athens, Wendi Carter of Elkmont, and two grandchildren Aaron and Kayleigh.
