There will be a graveside service Tuesday, October 20th at 2 p.m. at Athens City Cemetery with Dr. Edwin Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be from 12 – 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday at McConnell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rucker was born December 10, 1921 in Limestone County. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Athens, and the previous owner of Circle Front BBQ. She was retired from Martin Industries.
Mrs. Rucker is survived by two daughters: Sandra Miller of Athens, AL; Betty Ann McNatt of Southaven, MS; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by one son, Johnny McCulley.
