Rodney Keith Bailey

Rodney Bailey passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025 at the age of 73.

Rodney lived his life with passion, courage, adventure and a love for the open skies, fast tracks, and warm waters. He found freedom in flying, exhilaration in motorcycle racing, and joy in water-sports, but what truly mattered to him was sharing these experiences with those he loved most. Whether it was teaching his children and their friends the thrill of jet skis, building a small dirt bike track in his backyard for the grandkids, or soaring through the sky in his sailplane, his greatest happiness came from making memories with his family.

He is survived by his wife Debbie; his children Carrie Anderson (Rory), Brian Mondell (Dee), and Michael Mondell; his grandchildren Aaron Fielding, Dawson Mondell, Addyson Mondell, Addyleigh Mondell, Belle Royster, and Dylan Royster (Kaci). He was preceded in death by parents Bill and Dorothy Bailey; and grandson Sean Fielding.

Rodney will be remembered for his fearless spirit, his generous heart, and the way he showed his family that life is meant to be fully lived. His adventures may have come to a close, but the stories, lessons, and love he left behind will forever carry him onward in the hearts of those who knew him.

The family will hold a celebration of life visitation on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 5 pm until 7 pm at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel for family and friends.
