Funeral service will be Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 3 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 2:45
Ms. Butler was born April 18, 1966 to Floyd Newman and Ruby Berryhill Newman.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Toney Newman.
Survivors include: Three daughters, Lacey Posey of Athens; Lindsay Emerson and husband Derrick Spry of Athens; Whittney Schwarz and husband Kyle of Athens; one brother, Jeff Newman and wife Minie, two sisters, Jewel Pope and husband Larry and Susan Riggs; eight grandchildren, Alexis Spry, Cash Posey, Elijah Spry, Xyrus Posey, Alex Spry, Liberty Posey, Braggston Posey, and Caroline Spry, several nieces and nephews, and her companion, Jonathan Mills.
