Ruth Chambers

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 56 years, Lakeon Clifford Chambers. Several brothers and sisters also preceded her in death, as well as her son-in-law, Anthony Anderson.

Survivors include one daughter, LaMerle Anderson; one son, Earl Chambers (Sheree); nine grandchildren, Haley Chambers, Josh Chambers, DeWayne Daniel, Rebecca Murphy (Shannon), Jessie Ziegler (Cary), David Daniel (Heather), LaShay McCoy (Alan), Andrew Slatton (Liane) Stephen Guthrie; several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Chambers was a homemaker, who loved flowers and enjoyed gardening.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home.

There will be a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at Antioch cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Carey Ziegler, David Daniel, and AJ Ziegler.
