Ms. Rousseau was born May 12, 1917 in Galveston, TX to Oscar T. Williams and Jeannette Legette Williams. Her parents precede her in death as well as her husband, Lawrence W. Rousseau, Sr., her brother, Robert Crawford Williams; two granddaughters, Stephanie Ann Koles Haycock and Kristina Lynn Koles.
Ms. Rousseau worked at Redstone Arsenal Officers Club in Huntsville, AL as a night office manager.
Survivors include one son, Lawrence W. Rousseau, Jr. of Athens, AL; two daughters, Rebecca Rousseau Murphy and Matred Ann Rousseau Koles; three grandsons, Matthew Murphy, Avery Murphy, and Steven Koles; one great-granddaughter, Lexie Lea Murphy; three great-grandsons, Dylan M. Murphy, Reece A. Murphy and Jacob Koles; as well as many nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service Friday, October 20, 2023 at 3 p.m. at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Huntsville, AL.
The visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home in Athens, AL.
