Alan, you were too much for us mortals this world, God had to take that twinkle in your eye and place it in the sky. Thank you for always being my dear friend for 38 years.  I am so sorry your family had to lose such a great person. I hope your children follow in your legacy.

I just learned of Alan's death, having read about it in the State Bar Journal. Very sorry to learn about his death. I worked for Alan as a law clerk in 1977 and 1978 while I was in law school at UGA and have very fond memories of those days. I learned a lot from Alan and he gave his law clerks a real practical education in the practice of law. My deepest condolences to the family. Janney Sanders, Toccoa, Ga.

Deepest Condolences to the family!  We have suffered a tremendous loss but heaven has gained a great litigator and loyal Bulldog fan!  ALL of our childhood friends from Miami Springs Elem hold fond memories of our good friend and have been so proud of his adult accomplishments. He was most proud of his family!RIP "Skip"!
