Alysia "Ashley" Parker

Ashley was the daughter of Mary Faye Johns Rosario, Lance Thomas Kaui Rosario, and William Harold Parker Jr. Before her illness, Ashley was preparing to begin a position in hospitality with UGA Dining Services—work that reflected her steady desire to serve others with care and warmth.

Ashley found joy in the simple, meaningful pleasures of life. She loved doing nails, spending time at the beach, and cooking—interests that suited her attentive hands and generous spirit. Ashley’s smile and laughter were contagious; to know her was to love her, and her presence left an imprint of light that will be remembered and missed.

Ashley was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Wilbur Johns and her paternal grandmother, Sylvia Toney.

In addition to her parents, Ashley is survived by three children: Kehalani Parker Rosario, Keoki Parker, and Jeremiah Lawrence; her stepmother, Jennifer Cornell; maternal grandmother, Elaine Mundy; paternal grandparents: William Harold Parker Sr. and Almut Parker; brothers: Samuel Parker, Lorenzo Rosario, Luke Rosario, Tyler Parker, and Brett Parker; sisters: Maddi Hart, Jennifer Potts, and Dawn Howard; brothers-in-law: Clayton Hart, Michael Potts, and J.D. Howard; sisters-in-law: Bayly Rosario, Kessie Parker and Jessica Rosario; hānai sisters: Michelle Nichols and Jasmine Echols; and 10 nieces and four nephews.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Bernstein Funeral Home, 3195 Atlanta Hwy., Athens, Georgia 30606, on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Ashley’s Life will be held at Bernstein Funeral Home, 3195 Atlanta Hwy., Athens, Georgia 30606, on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

Following the celebration of life, a reception will be held at 3700 Atlanta Hwy., Athens, Georgia 30606, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Upon arrival, please look for signs.

Through organ donation, Ashley gave four precious gifts of life, leaving a legacy of hope, healing and love that will endure for generations.
