

Born October 5, 1975 in Anderson, South Carolina to Teresa Nichols and Walter Gibson.
Amy was employed at ADD Drug Store for over 12 years. Amy was the heart and soul of their lunch counter and was a cherished member of the ADD Drug Family. She welcomed people with warmth, cared deeply for her customers and coworkers, and had a special way of making everyone she met feel loved. Her bright smile and infectious laugh will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, D.J. Gunnin and CheyAnne Gunnin-Wilkie, and their spouses, Lynette Gunnin and Tanner Wilkie; three grandchildren, Brynlee, Hunter, and Elliott; her mother, Teresa; and her sisters, Jenifer and Susan; her cherished companion, Jeff Carithers; his children, April, Amanda, and Benny; four grandchildren, Layla, Jaxon, Lucy, and Avery; her friends, Lesia Wilkey, Vanessa Ownings, Jenna Benton, and so many others. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
Amy loved her dogs, thrifting, hunting and fishing, and doing arts and crafts, including sewing. Amy loved making handmade gifts. Most importantly, she loved her family and friends. Amy impacted everyone around her in a positive and light-filled way. Amy enjoyed talking about God and sharing His word to help lift others up. Amy will be leaving a deep and lasting mark on everyone who had the pleasure of being a part of her life. Amy lived a life full of love and kindness.
Family and friends are invited to join the family on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Bernstein Funeral Home for the viewing.
