Angela Wright Clay

Angela was born January 30, 1968, to Diane Miller Wright in Altus, Oklahoma. She lived in Oklahoma and in Texas prior to being raised in Sandy Springs and East Cobb County, Georgia. Angela was a 1986 graduate of Lassiter High School and was on the homecoming court. Angela attended the University of Georgia and graduated from Georgia State with a degree in education. She taught Kindergarten, first and third grades in the Atlanta area. She was a talented artist and avid decorator with a keen eye for color and design. She had a passionate and extensive love for and knowledge of music. She once stepped on the Broadway stage of Wicked as part of the ensemble and later worked as an extra in several television shows.

Angela was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Susan Enkeboll. She is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 29 years, Richard, and her beloved daughter, Taylor Alise, as well as her loyal companion collie, Rosie.

Services will be held on Monday, March 30, at 1:00 p.m., at 125 Henderson Avenue, Athens, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org).
