Angela Rowan

Born on May 29, 1941, she grew up in Atlanta and attended Brown High School, and graduated from Georgia State University. She primarily resided in Marietta, GA, Whitesburg, GA and most recently in Athens, GA.

Angela worked in Sales for several years, and spent her later years working at Boars Head.

Angela is survived by her two sons, Craig Edmonds and Johnny Edmonds, and her brother, Fred Rowan. She is also survived by her grandson, Alex Edmonds, granddaughters, Anna Edmonds Karam, Evelyn Edmonds and Sidney Edmonds, along with 2 nephews and 3 nieces. Angela was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Ada Rowan, and her sister, Ramona Rowan.

A funeral ceremony to celebrate Angela’s life will be held at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta, GA on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11:00 am with Pastor Ron Hughes officiating. A small graveside service for the family will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Alcova Baptist Church cemetery with Pastor Dave Smith officiating.
