Ann B Vance

She was born November 18, 1920 in Ardmore, OK. Anna was a resident of Largo, FL and spent summers at her mountain home in Highlands, NC. Anna and her husband, Joe, lived over forty years at their Niskey Lake home in southwest Atlanta, GA where their children grew up. Ann was a member of Starkey Road Baptist Church in Seminole, FL and was an active member of the Eastern Air Lines Retired Pilots Association.

Anna was married over sixty years to Josef Coffey Vance Sr., a retired Eastern Air Lines Captain, who passed away in 2004 in Largo, FL. Together they had three children: Josef Coffey Vance Jr. (deceased), Vicky Ann Vance Rogers (Tom) of Tulsa, OK and Dinah Lynn Vance Hoch (Robert) of Greensboro, GA. She is survived by five grandchildren: Anna Hoch Dunn, Emily Hoch Fleming, Rachael Hoch Everett, Jennifer Rogers, and Rebecca Rogers and by six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nephew, Todd Berryhill of Marietta, GA; sisters-in-law: Beverly Berryhill of Ardmore, OK and Mary Lynn Vance Broyles of Largo, FL; and her lifelong friend Arlene Sewell of Atlanta, GA.

Anna will be interred in the Berryhill family section at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore, OK. Graveside services will be held October 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
