A native of Athens, Barbara was the daughter of the late Lula White and Frank Huff. She was a seamstress and was a member of Saxon Road Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Savage.
Survivors include Jill Witcher of Watkinsville, Russell (Melanie) Savage of Watkinsville and Teressa Savage (Mia) of Lawrenceville; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home in Athens.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the New Christian Faith Church officiated by Reverend David Lewis, Reverend David Gattie and Reverend Alex Brown. Interment will follow at Huff Cemetery in Watkinsville.
