A native of Athens, GA, Mr. Strickland was the son the late R.G. and Hazel Wilson Strickland and was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Strickland. He was a tutor and substitute teacher and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Macon, GA.
Survivors include sisters, Theresa Betts of Hull and Deborah Hunnicutt and husband, Perry of Oakland, TN, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 10AM Saturday, November 15th at Evergreen Memorial Park with Father David McGuinnis officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Friday, November 14th at Bernstein Funeral Home.
