Born in Hadera and raised in Netanya, Israel, Mr. Zohar was the son of the late Moshe and Shoshana Weinfass Zohar. He worked as a bus driver for the Clarke County School District. He also taught Shotokan karate in Watkinsville.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Zohar was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Hava and David Zemach of Netanya, Israel.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Bloss Zohar; children: Shoshana Ruth Zohar (Yotam Ginsburg), Amanda Sarah Zohar, Rebecca Leah Zohar, Joseph Nash (Casandra) and Shauna Nash; and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 28, at 3:00 p.m., in the Congregation Children of Israel section at Oconee Hill Cemetery in Athens, GA.
