A native of Kannapolis, NC, Ms. Butler was the daughter of the late Ellis Howard Christian and Vera Faye Christian.
Survivors include son, John Butler and wife, Dana of Bogart, GA; daughter, Amber Ray and husband, Jonathan of San Antonio, TX, and grandchildren, Gloria Heusser and husband, Justin, Victoria Butler, Lucas Hurney and Marcus Hurney.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, April 30th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev Mark Spence and Rev Carlton Shelton officiating. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10-11AM prior to the service.
