Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a friend to all, never meeting a stranger. She was always up for a good laugh, fixing something good to eat, or tending to those around her. She was the kind of person with a warmth in their heart you could feel from across the room—someone who would give and not think twice.
Beverly passed peacefully at 7 p.m. Saturday, February 4 shortly after sunset. While she was sick, she received enormous support from friends and family. Her last days were filled with happiness and love thanks to all the prayers and help we received. We could not thank you enough.
She would remind us that while death brings sadness, it can also bring peace and closeness to those who still have their lives to live. She constantly said it was important to show and share love with those around us, so they always know how we feel.
We will hold that lesson close to our hearts and urge you to do the same. Always share your love with family and friends because tomorrow is never promised.
Beverly is survived by husband, Jimmy Jones; children, Christy Boothe Reed (Jody), Christopher Herrera (Marybeth); four-legged love, Bella Herrera; grandchildren, Caleb Durand (Lainey), Kaylea Durand (Eric), and Hayden Reed; three great grandchildren; siblings, Timothy Coker, Babs Coker, Maire Kirby, and Jeff Coker
