Bryan Edward Mitchell

Bryan Edward Mitchell, 51, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, August 27, 2017. He passed away at home from extensive injuries due to a fall while hunting many years ago. He was born and raised in Athens.

He is survived by his three children: a son, Bryan Mitchell, Jr.; and two daughters, Murphy Mitchell and Morgan Mitchell; his parents, Ernie and Bonnie Mitchell; and two brothers, Ernie Mitchell, Jr. (Krista) and Chris Mitchell (Juli); and his much loved nieces and nephews, Tripps, Buck, Lilly, and Sara Lindsay.

Bryan loved his Lord, family, friends, football and the great outdoors. All who knew him loved him, and were inspired by the way, he lived his life, in spite of his difficult challenges. His final words to everyone would be NEVER GIVE UP!

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, August 30 from 5-7 p.m. at Bernstein Funeral Home in Athens.

A memorial service will be held at Briarwood Baptist Church, located at 1900 Robinhood Road and Hwy. 53, Watkinsville, GA 30677, on Thursday, August 31 at 11 a.m.
