Carey Jackson "Jack" Nicholson

Jack was born in Commerce to the late Victor and Evelyn Nix Nicholson, was raised in Athens, graduated Athens High School in 1959 and went on to attend the University of Georgia. Jack retired after 38 years of service, as a mail carrier, from the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Methodist faith.

Jack is survived by his brothers, John Nicholson of Bogart and Dow Nicholson and his wife, Claire of Dublin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in Evergreen Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of St. Mary’s Hospice for their loving care of Mr. Nicholson.
