It is with heartfelt and deep regret that I just learned of the passing of Carl.  He was in my Cub Scout Pack when I was Cub Master of Pack 119 at Alps Road School and Pack 333 at Timothy Road School.  I knew Carl's father and mother who worked with me in Cub Scouts.  They were a fine family.

Carl, We have just gotten word of your passing and we are shattered. Thinking of all the good times, finding myself crying out to your spirit Wow how delicate and tragic life can be, as i find myself here on this tasty Grogus jam I MUST remember that Our lives were genuinely changed forever since first hearing you sing Brainwash/ Hallelujah with the band Dubsconscious in 2005. Your loving spirit was truly available to all. Never a dull moment with you around my friend your passion and zest for life and to connect with and inspire those around you was to be desired by all including myself, i can honestly say I have looked up to you since i was 19.I wanted to be you.just like you infacta true role model who expressed himself honestly and truly with no remorse...... always..and thats pretty hard to do. thanks for all the smiles joy and wisdom. I only knew Carl as a fresh faced five year old, but know his family is deeply grieved by his loss.  I have followed his musical career and life in Athens and thought how proud his family must be of him.

Back in the mid-nineties I had the joy of hanging out with Carl. When I came back for graduate school years later, he was just as friendly, humble and welcoming as ever. I wish I had gotten to know him better or spent more time with him. My thoughts and deepest condolences go to his family and friends. Carl Lindberg, a very kind and cool person, requiescat in pace.
