

Twin sister of Carroll Ogletree (deceased), Aubrey Ogletree (deceased), Irvin Ogletree (deceased), Elizabeth O. Johnston, Edna O. Capps, Frances O. Sanders, Reba O. Cooper of Macon and Louise O. Smith of Charlotte, NC.
She married Elijah Hampton (Hamp) Tanner (deceased) in 1954, in Athens. She later moved to Albany, GA where they resided for many years and Carolyn worked for the Senior Citizens Council on Aging where she taught art classes to the elderly and was involved with the Silver Hair Legislature.
She was a member of the Green Acres Baptist Church in Athens.
She is survived by her son Clint Almond Jr., and his wife Sarah Ann Almond of Winterville, GA

Grandchildren William “Tony” Tedrick, Melissa Bickerstaff, Jessica Conrad Thomasson and Michael Thomasson, Tanner Conrad, Chelsea Moorleghen. Great-grandchildren Christopher and Jackson Thomasson.
A memorial service will be held at Bernstein Funeral Home on Sunday at 2:00 for family and friends with internment at Evergreen Cemetary in Athens.
A special thank you to Pat Hall of Cumming and the members of Hospice Advantage team for the love and care shown to Mrs. Tanner over the years.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Sunday, April 28th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
