A native of Athens, GA, Mr. Drake was the son of Roy Drake and Alma Massingale. He was a self-employed heating and air technician and was a Combat Veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Amy Drake of Athens; daughters, Briana Lopez of Athens and Mariena Drake of Rainbow City, AL; brothers, Roy Lee Drake Jr of Athens, Chad Drake of Ila, and Joshua Drake of Athens; paternal grandfather, Luther Drake, and maternal grandmother, Annie Graham.
Funeral services will be held 2PM Sunday, November 6th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Luther Fouche officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Saturday, November 5th at Bernstein.
