Claire was born on July 14, 1957 in Fort Valley, Georgia to Charles and Nita Parham. She attended Clarke Central High School. She enjoyed movies, music and spending time with family. She loved all babies and would always hold one when given the opportunity. At her core, she was truly selfless and thought of others around her before thinking of herself.
Claire is survived by her loving mother, Nita Claire Parham of Athens; sisters: Debbie Parham Pollard of Jacksonville and Jan Alison McLane of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Parham; sister, Lynn Marie Berdon; maternal grandparents: Virgil Young and Vera Young; and paternal grandparents: Thomas Parham and Jessie Parham.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 24, at 2:00 p.m., at Bernstein Funeral Home, with Reverend Chris Berdon of First Pentecostal Church officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
