A native of Oglethorpe Co, GA Mr. Harper was the son of the late Bunnie Lewis Harper Sr and Walla Mae Draper Harper and was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Harper and Bunnie Lewis Jr and sisters, Irine Harper, Julie Harper, Sybil Connally, Anne Harper English, and Mary Bond. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a self-employed landscaper.
Survivors include former wife, Annette Harper; daughter, Elaine Harper of Apollo Beach, FL; companion, Sara “Kay” Young, and brothers, Wallace Wayne Harper and Bobby Ray Harper.
Graveside services will be held 3PM Sunday, May 19th at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev Chris Wrenn officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM prior to the service at Bernstein Funeral Home.
