Clifford "Don" Clyde Hill

A native of Griffin, GA, Mr. Hill was the son of Florence Forehand Hill of Athens and the late Cliff Russell Hill. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and was employed by U-Haul of Athens. Mr. Hill loved playing guitar and was a member of the band “Twang”.

Survivors in addition to his mother, include sons, Andy Michael Hill and Brandon Mitchell Hill both of Athens; their mother, Deanne Hill of Watkinsville; brothers, Scott Hill and wife, Karen of Lawrenceville, Brian Hill and wife, Donna of Bogart, and Patrick Hill and wife, Nicki of Statesboro, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, May 12th in the chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Sheppard officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12-2PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Sonny Dixon, Avery Shadden, Chris Dixon, Clayton Mann, Travis Epps, and Eddie Powell will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Georgia, 2250 North Druid Hills Rd, Suite 250, Atlanta, GA 30329.
