Mrs. Evans was born in Good Hope to Brindle Farmer and the late Anngelyn Griffith Farmer. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Thomas Milton Evans, Sr.; two children, Thomas Milton Evans, Jr. (Linda) of Colbert and Angela Evans Ferguson (Roger) of Martin; one brother, Daniel Farmer of Good Hope; three sisters, Brenda Duke of Newnan, Kaye Greene (Mike) of Loganville, and Regina Lowery (Mike) of Monticello; three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 3 PM, Monday, January 3, 2011 at Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lisia Elder officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Bernstein Funeral Home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Hospice House, 1660 Jennings Mill Road, Bogart, GA 30622.
