Cora Lillian Aycock Weatherford

A native of Oconee Co, GA, Mrs. Weatherford was the daughter of the late Trammell Ray Aycock and Cora Lillian Aiken Aycock and was preceded in death by her husband, David Edgar Weatherford Sr. She attended Watkinsville First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, David Edgar Weatherford Jr and Carol G Weatherford of Seneca, SC; daughter and son-in-law, Myrna and Foy Bentley of Monticello, GA; sister, Anita Phillips of Kathleen, GA; grandchildren, Barbara Bell of Mooresville, NC , Jonathan and Carolyn Bentley of Hamilton, GA, Jeffrey and Sheryl Bentley of Harvest, AL, Kathryn Weatherford of Charlotte, NC , and David E Weatherford III of Charlotte, NC, and great-grandchildren, Fletcher Bell, Bailey Bell, Ike Bentley, and Brandt Bentley.

Funeral services will be held 3PM Sunday, October 10th at Watkinsville First United Methodist Church with Rev Randy Kanipe officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-3PM prior to the service at the church.

Members of the Explorers Sunday school class and of the WSCS will serve as honorary pallbearers.
