Born in Dayton, OH, on October 24, 1956, Dan was the son of the late Donald A. Connors and Nancy Connors Clark. He was a 1975 graduate of Beavercreek High School in Ohio where he lettered in football and excelled as a third baseman earning a position on the All-State team. Dan was a graduate of Morehead State University with a degree in Poultry Science. He worked in the poultry industry his entire career, most recently retiring from his position as a compliance officer for Cal-Maine Foods in 2020. He enjoyed college football, tailgating, woodworking and being a “grill master.” Most of all, he loved being a “Bumpa” to his grandkids.
