He was born on November 30, 1936, in Double Springs, Alabama, where he spent his youth. Don was a graduate of Winston County High School Class of 1955. After high school graduation, he was drafted into the United States Armed Forces and served two years in the U.S. Army.
Don is survived by his daughter, Donna Doegg; one grandson, Jake Gower; and one great-grandson, Anderson Gower, all of Athens, Georgia. Don is also survived by his soulmate of the last 18 years, Jeanette O'Meara.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Hammond Frazier and Arthenia (McDonald) Frazier; and an infant sister, Brenda Frazier.
Don attended the Church of Christ in Double Springs, Alabama, as a youth and on return trips to his hometown.
Don owned and operated his own business, Don Frazier Auto Brokers in Blackshear, Georgia, for the past 30 years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races, the Atlanta Braves, and the Auburn Tigers. Don will be missed by his family and many friends.
No calling hours are scheduled. Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, Florida with Joni Conner-Little officiating.
