

A native of Comer in Madison County Ga, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Lafayette and Lou Tisha Moss Johnson and the widow of WWII veteran Oscar Clifford Seabolt. She was a professional seamstress and a longtime employee of Sears Roebuck & Co. Mrs. Seabolt had been a member of East Athens Baptist Church since 1946 and adopted by members of Rays United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by one daughter Ellen Brownlee (James) of Watkinsville, one granddaughter Jeannie Simmons (Sonny) of Anderson, SC, three grandsons Marcus Pickelsimer (Lisa) of Winterville, Ricky Farmer of Jefferson and Darrell Brownlee (Jennifer) of Bishop, several great and great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday, June 10th, at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Blackmon officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park beside her beloved husband.
The family will receive friends at Bernstein from 6-8 pm on Monday, June 9, 2014.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Whitehall Baptist Church Food Pantry, 392 East Whitehall Rd, Athens, Georgia 30605.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Nelms and members of Rays United Methodist Church.
