Beth taught my daughter in the third grade at the Galloway school. Beth was such a sweet and caring teachers. She was always great to talk to because she was a great conversationalist she used to love the way my daughter Kira dressed. She would time to time take pictures of her favorite outfits . At Galloway early learning each teacher was responsible for putting on a play or art show every year to showcase their children. Beth’s play was my favorite one of all our EL years. The kids sang stand by me and the girls dressed up and read a dialogue of famous women in history. It was great. Beth was taken way too young and will be missed by all. I feel for her children and her family. You’re in my prayers Shannon Francklin

Beth taught my daughter, Natalie, in 3rd grade at The Galloway School in 2011-12... Beth was one of Natalie’s favorite teachers and she was so sad when she moved away. Beth was so nurturing to Natalie and a good friend to me.. I can not express how sad I am to hear the news of her passing... her memory will forever live on in all those who knew and loved her.

I took my love, I took it down
I climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
'Til the landslide brought me down
Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changin' ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?

Well, I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older too
Well, I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older too
Oh! I'm getting older too

Oh-oh, take my love, take it down
Oh-oh, climb a mountain and you turn around
And if you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide bring it down
And if you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide bring it down
The landslide bring it down

Miss you, Beth & love you. We had so much fun and today and yesterday we celebrated you with Nell, Bob, Greg, Andy, Amy, Uncle John and Lil' Man. I can't wait to see your family again soon to celebrate you.
Much love,
Kent

My heart aches hearing of Beth’s accident. We were at St. Mary’s together and I so loved our friendship and fun we had together. She was truly one of the cutest and most fun friends I had there. We laughed all the time. I think about our times and just can’t believe this has happened. All of my thoughts and blessings and prayers go to her boys and her beloved family. I am so saddened. Sending you all so much strength. All my love, Elizabeth Holmes

I am so sad to hear about Beth. We went to St. Mary's together, and she was one of my favorite people there. We had lots of fun on road trips, including several to Athens, and I will always remember her beautiful, beautiful smile. It was impossible not to have fun when you were around her. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of Beth. She was such a light. Gina

Dear Nell and Bob:

I was so saddened to read the terrible news today about your loss. I know that no words can begin to reduce the deep pain you are feeling today. As one of your former Athens Academy students, I believe I speak for many others who also consider themselves as part of your family and we all grieve with you today. I pray that as time passes all of your treasured, special memories of Nell bring you more and more peace and comfort each day. In the meantime I am sending unconditional love from the entire Hodson family here in Athens.
