A native of Athens, Mr. Escoe was a son of the late Jessie Jack Escoe and Mary Belle Embry Escoe. He worked as an electrician with Escoe Industrial Contractors and was a member of IBEW Local 613.
Survivors include children, Ben Escoe and Maggie Escoe; and their mother, Allison Escoe, all of Athens; brother, Jimmy Escoe of Watkinsville; granddaughter, Danielle Brady; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 28 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Ed Saye officiating.
