Gilma Cromer

A native of Madison Co, Mrs. Cromer was the daughter of the late Buren W. Freeman and Mildred Smith Freeman and was preceded in death by brothers, Watson Freeman and Doyle Freeman. She retired from Dr. Ed Lewis’s office as a nurse and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include husband, Frank Cromer of Hull; sons, Gary Cromer and wife, Elizabeth of Madison County and Dan Cromer and wife, Cheekia of Winder; sister, Velma Magness of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Micaela Cromer, Mendi Cromer, and Meg Perry and husband, Joey; great-grandson, Cale Perry, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10AM Monday, August 8th at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Sunday, August 7th at Bernstein Funeral Home.
