Gisèle was a wonderful person and faithful friend. I am grateful for the time spent with her and her husband Gabriel in New York, Geneva, Brussels and Athens, Georgia. I also enjoyed their legendary hospitality at their home on many occasions. They really knew how to connect with others. Gisèle was an inspiration. May she rest in peace.
With sincere condolences to Gisèle's nephews and family.

Giselle and her husband, Gabriel, were very special people who provided a welcoming environment for students, teachers, and scholars. I was lucky enough to be a guest in their home in both Brussels and Athens. The food was great, the conversation enlightening, and the fellowship always warm. They were a team that connected people to the world, and the world to many students.
