Hope, Mary, and Kate,

We are so very saddened to read of Dr. Hinton's passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. 

Just last Christmas, we exchanged cards and notes about my time working with him and how good he was to his employees. 

I worked in the optical for several years (from the late 60's through the early 80's) and what beautiful children you were. 

Please give my regards Anne. 

Again, we are greatly saddened. He will be sorely missed.

It was an honor to know Dr. Hinton. We had many important and meaningful discussions on all things. His vivacity and joie de vivre was an inspiration to me. I am grateful for his presence in my life. He is missed. My deepest condolences to his family.
