Hallie Anita Cooper

Born July 15, 1918, Mrs. Cooper was the daughter of the late Robert E. Eidam and Hallie Kirk Eidam and was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Wade Coleman Cooper; daughter, Rebecca Anita Cooper Webb Sanders, and sister, Elizabeth Eidam Hale. She was a lifelong resident of Athens, GA and a member of First Baptist Church of Athens. Mrs. Cooper enjoyed her flowers, singing, cooking, and spending time with her family and pets.

Survivors include daughter, Judy Eidam Cooper Smith and her husband, John B. (Jack) Smith, Jr of Pendleton, SC; son, Harry Wade Cooper and his wife, Mary Ann Blankenship Cooper of Athens; sister, Barbara Kirk Eidam of Athens; brother-in-law, George Ferrell Hale of Athens; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 2PM Wednesday, March 20th at Oconee Hill Cemetery with Dr. Jon Appleton officiating.
