A native of Clarke County, she was the daughter of the late Hiram David and Bertha Lee Ivester LaCount. Mrs. Bingham was preceded in death by a son Douglas Gurley and daughter Mary Ann Evans. She retired from Westclock and was a member of the Baptist faith. "Miss Hazel" will be remembered for her many acts of kindness and feisty spirit. She will be missed.
Survivors include a son Delma Bingham and wife Robin of Hull; daughter-in-law Jane Gurley; sister Carolyn Reynolds of Wolfskin Community; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Services will be 6 pm Saturday, December 14th, at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-6 pm Saturday at the chapel.
