

A native of Athens, GA, Mrs. Hendrix was the daughter of the late Elmer and Liskah Smith and was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Hendrix. She was a member of Oconee Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Anita and George Therriault of Athens; son, Raymond Butler of Comer; grandchildren, Karen Singleton of Cumming, Susan Pannell and her husband, Alex of Athens, Jason Butler of Atlanta; great-grandchildren, Connor and Collin Pannell of Athens; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Harold Garrett of Statham, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, August 21st in the Chapel at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev Crist Camden officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Friday, August 20th at Bernstein.
